Active Life One of the best places in the country to learn how to surf!

Wednesday, June 9, 20210

Just in time for summer, local ocean adventure company Everyday California will be launching all new kids’
surf camps from June 21 to August 27 at La Jolla Shores – one of the best places in the country to learn how to surf!

Five half-day surf camps

The five half-day surf camps will be offered for kids ages 5-11 and run Monday through Friday from 9AM to 12:30PM. Under close supervision from Everyday California’s first aid and CPR-certified instructors, kids will be given all the gear they need from surf boards to rash guards and will learn the fundamentals of surfing in a safe and fun outdoor environment.

Giving back to the community in a meaningful way

In addition to being a fun, social outdoor activity for kids, these surf camps give back to the community in a meaningful way. Everyday California committed to donating 10% of all bookings to local youth nonprofit, Urban
Surf 4 Kids so all children, regardless of their background, can enjoy the mental and physical benefits of this transformative outdoor experience.

The company actually just announced their first surf camp scholarship winner as part of the partnership on May 22 at a surf therapy camp event with Urban Surf 4 Kids in La Jolla.
