Playa San Juan Beach

A little off the beaten track find this once busy fishing port. It now hosts a small number of boats but boasts a great beach protected by the harbour. Some nice place to eat the one we found right on the beach offered a nice selection of sea food at very reasonable prices. Beach promenade is accessible for wheel chair users and they offer a wheelchair friendly runway onto the beach where there is a dedicated area with loungers and shade. – Playa San Juan Leighton

Nice little beach but very stoney. Also does feel a bit closed in with the harbour. Worth a look if your in the area but don’t go out your way. However the snorkelling is reasonable as the fish like the stoney sea bed, so better than sandy beaches for that. Overall ok. – Playa San Juan Leighton

Come here if you want to get away from the touristy crowded beaches in Los Cristianos or Las Americas. Pay the few bucks for sun chairs and umbrellas and the guy will also serve you food and drinks from the bar. 5€ Mojitos say it all! – Playa San Juan Leighton
