As the competitors gear up for the Surf Ranch Pro, two deserving surfers have been granted wildcards. Cole Houshmand, the highest-ranked North American surfer on the Challenger Series, has earned the coveted men’s event wildcard. Houshmand’s exceptional talent has rightfully earned him a spot among the world’s best. On the women’s side, Alyssa Spencer, the second-highest-ranked North American surfer on the Challenger Series, has secured the women’s event wildcard. Spencer’s dedication and skill make her a formidable contender in this prestigious competition. Notably, Sawyer Lindblad, the highest-ranked North American surfer, had initially been offered the wildcard but had to decline due to prior travel commitments.

Unfortunately, Seth Moniz, a talented surfer from Hawaii, has been forced to withdraw from the Surf Ranch Pro due to a back injury. However, fans need not despair, as Jett Schilling, the second-highest ranked North American surfer on the Challenger Series leaderboard following the conclusion of the GWM Sydney Surf Pro event, will step in to fill Moniz’s shoes. Schilling, known for his impressive skills and unwavering determination, is set to make a splash in this highly competitive field.
