The title concludes at Pipeline, where the WSL world titles have historically been decided in both men’s and women’s competition.

What the WSL Championship Is

The WSL Championship Tour is the top tier of professional competitive surfing, operating globally across events in Australia, Brazil, South Africa, Europe, the United States, and Indonesia in the men’s and women’s divisions. The champions are determined by accumulated points across the season, with the final event at Pipeline serving as the title-deciding contest when the points are close enough to make it matter.
